The cherub community starts with small bonding experiences that foster longtime connections. This year, some cherubs who take Latin in high school shared their experiences with a language most people view to be dead and useless. They talked about their quirky but fun Latin teachers and participation in the Junior Classical League in their hometowns. The Junior Classical League holds annual conventions celebrating Latin and ancient civilizations. Each cherub brought a unique story of their Latin class experience and what they do to keep the language alive and exciting. All shared their love for Latin and made new friends because of the dead language they all keep alive.
